IGCSE ( International General Certificate for Secondary Education)
The IGCSE, AS, and A level examinations provide clear objectives and aim to test higher order skills as well as simple recall of facts. Teachers prepare students for the examination by the following a carefully designed curriculum and methodology.
Both Cambridge and Edexcel subjects are offered in school. Students are required to finish 8 subjects and one complete A level subject. How ever students can take 2 AS subjects instead of one A level and any number of extra A levels. Students can sit for exam session in June and November for Cambridge subjects and June and January for Edexcel subjects. The school offers 5 subjects for the first year in IGCSE, 4 obligatory (Math, Biology,Chemistry and English as a second language) and the 5th is "Physics" for pre-IGCSE students, while the 5th subject for students joining IGCSE from national system is "Arabic as a first language".
